Tools Used: Adobe Illustrator to create graphic elements and custom icons, Adobe InDesign to assist with layout, PowerPoint to create social media templates that coworkers who did not know how to use the Adobe Suite could also create and edit graphics
The goal of this project was to create a series of branded social media graphics that would better promote the Office on Violence Against Women's mission and recent news.
About the Project
The objective of this project was to create branded social media graphics that would better promote the Office on Violence Against Women's mission and recent news.
The Office on Violence Against Women is a branch of the United States Department of Justice, and is responsible for distributing grants to organizations that specialize in reducing gender-based violence.
Each month, I created a social media calendar with 15-25 posts and published them throughout the month, while also monitoring social media and current events for additional news to promote.
Certain months were awareness months, such as Domestic Violence Awareness Month or Stalking Awareness Month, and the graphics for that month would be tailored to the awareness theme.
Additionally, I created leadership quote graphics, promotions arond new grants, upcoming webinars, general facts, and job openings.
