About the Project

The objective of this project was to create a digital graphic for Juneteenth that the Office on Violence Against Women staff could use as a Zoom background or use on social media channels to commemorate the holiday.

The Office on Violence Against Women is a branch of the United States Department of Justice, and is responsible for distributing grants to organizations that specialize in reducing gender-based violence.

For this design, I wanted to create a graphic full of movement and professionalism. I paid special attention to creating a color scheme that acknowledged Juneteenth as well as incorporated the Office's branding color scheme.
