About the Project

For Seattle Nice, I designed and built a fully branded email newsletter that mirrors the look and feel of the podcast’s website and logo—despite limited brand assets.

To create a visually cohesive experience, I extracted design direction directly from the podcast’s logo, manually matching colors and approximating typography to maintain brand consistency. The header image required heavy editing in Photoshop, including cropping, resizing, and clone stamping to clean up and reframe it for email use.

I designed every element of the newsletter—from section layouts and buttons to heading styles and background colors—to ensure clarity, hierarchy, and visual impact. The result is a responsive, easy-to-read newsletter that works across devices and email clients.

This newsletter is now a key part of their communications strategy, and is used whenever there is a new podcast episode to promote. I also created a responsive, on-brand site for Seattle Nice that supports the podcast's growth and community-building goals
